Rollers

Trench Cable Rollers are specifically designed for straight pulling applications, where cables are fed through trenches without bends or sharp turns. We offer different types of trench cable rollers for specific applications, including basic, heavy-duty, long base, and narrow rollers. These rollers vary based on the diameter of the cable they are used with. The frames of the rollers are either powder-coated or galvanized, while the rollers themselves are hot-dip galvanized in accordance with BS-729 standards, ensuring durability. The finish is fabricated with black steel.

Corner Trench Rollers

Corner trench cable rollers are essential for guiding cables around bends and corners in underground cable-laying operations. These rollers prevent cable damage caused by friction and sharp turns. We offer trench cable rollers specifically designed for corner applications. Corner rollers can be used individually or linked together with stake pins to provide enhanced cable guidance. This makes them flexible and easy to configure according to specific needs.

The Triple Corner Roller (Type 1 & Type 2) and Double Corner Angled Roller are designed for sharp corner applications, while the Bend/Vertical Horizontal Roller is ideal for guiding cables around bends. Each roller is made with precision steel tubes and hot-dip galvanized in accordance with BS-729 standards. Frames are available in either powder-coated or galvanized finishes.

Suspension & Manhole Roller

Suspension Rollers are used when cables need to be lifted from the ground and placed onto overhead supports or cable trunks. ADCO Pipes offers both heavy-duty and light-duty versions to cater to different cable types. The Heavy Duty Suspension Roller is ideal for heavier cables, providing support when lifting them onto overheads. Light Duty rollers are designed for less heavy cables but serve the same purpose. Both types are suspended from a crossbeam for easy overhead installation, with frames available in Powder Coated or Galvanized finishes, and rollers crafted from High Precision Steel Tubes.

Cable Protection Rollers are designed to ensure smooth cable handling during installation. They feature high-precision steel tubes mounted on heavy-duty ball bearings. An adjustable spindle with a tetragonal thread provides customization options, and they are available in single or double roller configurations.

Manhole Triple Rollers, typically placed at the entrance or exit of pits or manholes, are used for guiding cables as they are laid into overhead cable trays. The triple roller configuration ensures smooth cable handling, with options for powder-coated or galvanized frames.

Bend Rollers

Bend rollers are essential tools for complex cable laying operations, where cables must navigate intricate pathways with multiple bends and curves. They facilitate smooth cable installation by minimizing friction, ensuring the cables are guided effectively through challenging terrains. ADCO Pipes offers three types of bend rollers: vertical rollers, horizontal rollers, and skid rollers, along with an optional skid plate for enhanced functionality.

The Vertical Roller is equipped with nine vertical steel rollers mounted on a heavy-duty frame. For larger cables exceeding 130mm in diameter, the vertical roller can be combined with a horizontal roller to accommodate greater flexibility.

The Horizontal Roller features a dual-roller setup—one horizontal and one vertical—mounted on a sturdy frame, which is available in either powder-coated or galvanized finishes.

The Skid Plate with Horizontal Roller consists of four horizontally arranged rollers on a bent steel base frame designed to facilitate cable pulling around bends. In contrast, the Skid Roller contains a single roller on a similarly bent steel frame and is equipped with stake pins, allowing multiple skid rollers to be connected together for improved performance.

Cable Drum Lifting Jack

Screw Jack
Screw jacks are compact and user-friendly, making them highly portable. They feature a simple design with an axle jaw placed on a thin ground plate, which enhances their transportability. These jacks can lift cable drums with capacities of 3 tonnes, 6 tonnes, 8 tonnes, and 10 tonnes. Unlike other jacks, screw jacks do not come with a hydraulic bottle jack but are equipped with steel spindles. The hydraulic systems incorporate rams that enable the lifting of drums directly onto the trailer bed, ensuring efficient loading and unloading. Customization options for the jacks include the choice of engine and axle configurations.

Hydraulic Jack
Hydraulic jacks are robustly designed to lift heavier cable drums, with capacities of 5 tonnes, 10 tonnes, and 15 tonnes available. These jacks are mounted on heavy-duty ground plates and feature solid trusses fitted with wheels for easy maneuverability. They include spindles and fixing clamps for stability. The hydraulic systems and rams allow for direct lifting of drums onto trailers, with two single rams enabling independent lifting of each drum. A smaller 3-ton model is also offered, with customization options similar to the other jacks.

Heavy Duty Jack
As the name implies, heavy-duty jacks are built to lift the heaviest cable drums. They share a structural resemblance with screw jacks but are placed on heavy-duty ground plates reinforced with heavy-duty bars. Each jack is equipped with a hydraulic bottle jack, making them suitable for lifting drums weighing 25 tonnes and 30 tonnes. Steel spindles enhance their durability, and upon customer request, a jack capable of lifting up to 50 tonnes can be fabricated.

Tower Type Jack
Tower type jacks have a distinctive design featuring heavy-duty steel bars arranged around and below the jack. They come equipped with a hydraulic bottle jack and steel spindles, simplifying the lifting process. These jacks can lift drums weighing up to 15 tonnes and 20 tonnes, making them an excellent choice for heavier lifting tasks.
